This policy outlines the applicable charges and refunds based on the timing of a cancellation relative to the scheduled rental start date.
1. Cancellation Timeline and Refund Schedule
To cancel an equipment rental, you must notify FORRENTZ in writing. The refund percentage is determined by the amount of notice given before the scheduled pickup time and date:

2. General Cancellation Conditions
Timely Notice: All cancellation requests must be received and acknowledged by FORRENTZ through a formal communication (e.g., email or confirmed message) to be valid.
Cancellation Fee: The cancellation fee will be deducted from any payments already made for the rental.
Security Deposit: If a security deposit was paid, the entire deposit will be refunded upon cancellation, regardless of the notice period (as your standard terms do not indicate forfeiture of the deposit for simple cancellation).
Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 2 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.
3. No-Show Policy
If the Customer fails to pick up the equipment at the agreed-upon time and location without providing prior cancellation notice, this will be considered a “No-Show.” No-Shows are subject to a 100% cancellation fee, resulting in a 0% refund of the rental charges.
Note: This policy is inserted under the section that allows FORRENTZ(Rohit Kumar M) to cancel the event/rental due to political figures or unsafe content. It is important to explicitly state the communication method for cancellations in your full terms.
